The brown wire

  The brown wire, which is the live wire should go to the portion of the plug marked L. Often, leaking faucets can easily be remedied with the right tools.   The copper wires should be wound around the proper terminals, or they should at least pass through.Turn off the water supply once again, and inspect the faucet for minute cracks. It is dangerous to use broken plugs.Be careful with the fine strands of copper wire.
